Created during the final months of my mother’s life as we sat together, talking, napping, and just enjoying each other. A recent commission, honoring “Gaia”, earth mother, currently on display at the Art Barn School of Art exhibition, Butterflies and Beyond, now through September 27.
See my piece "Dark & Dirty Dancing: Partnering with Fossil Fuels" on display at South Shore Arts, Munster, Indiana now through November 1. This work is a commentary on the darker side of industrial agriculture. It's made of coiled corn husks, partially peeled curly willow, waxed linen, found object and tinted wax.
