Created during the final months of my mother’s life as we sat together, talking, napping, and just enjoying each other. “Crown for Gaia”, 2023. natural & found materials, waxed linen, gemstones
A recent commission, honoring “Gaia”, earth mother, currently on display at the Art Barn School of Art exhibition, Butterflies and Beyond, now through September 27.
I will be teaching a number of classes again this year, for pre-schoolers to adults. Media will range from tie-dye, jewelry, found object assemblage, to stick creations and more. My classes will be held in Rensselaer at the Carnegie Center.
