This series is inspired by the creations of the ancient Hopewell Culture which created and buried effigies of hands in their mound graves as a way to connect the spirit world with the living world.

Each copper hand is unique and selectively embellished, in this case with a rustic forged copper convex dome, a turquoise disk, mini turquoise charms, and metal accent beads. This hand was forged, textured and finished with a rustic patina that is sealed for a stable finish. The copper hand is 2 3/8” high by 1 1/4” wide. The copper ball chain is 29” long but can easily be shortened.. This light weight necklace can compliment any outfit, from casual to dressy.
