A talisman is a very special object, believed to possess magical powers and intended to empower the wearer, bringing good luck. This one-of-a-kind assemblage pendant is created from treasured natural and found materials. stitched together on a forged copper backing. It measures 5 1/2” from the top of hand forged pendant to the bottom of the feather and is about 2” wide. Materials include barks, forged copper with sealed patina, found objects ( wire, screening, rusty metal), spruce root twig, wood and turquoise beads, feathers, corn husks, all stitched to the bark, then to the copper foundation, with waxed linen. The thick leather cord has hand forged findings.
